Abstract
Metabolic derangements are fairly common occurrences in cancer medicine. In many instances, they require deft recognition and prompt institution of emergency therapeutic intervention. These syndromes may result from a primary tumor, metastatic disease, or anti-tumor therapy. This article discusses the management of such patients.
