Abstract

Electroencephalography (EEG) is a diagnostic technique used in the management of seizures and helps separate some movement disorders from epilepsy. EEG allows for measurement of the electrical potentials produced by the brain both in the normal state and with pathology. The delineation of this activity facilitates accurate diagnosis and treatment.
