Abstract
Epilepsia partialis continua (EPC) refers to prolonged, focal, and repetitive motor seizures resulting from a variety of inciting etiologies. The differential diagnosis is broad and treatment is based primarily on the causative etiology. Prognosis varies according to the nature of the underlying disease. EPC can cause continuous or intermittent involuntary movements that can be misinterpreted as a movement disorder.
