Lower lid blepharoplasty with fat repositioning using a foam bolster

Research output: Chapter in Book/Report/Conference proceedingChapter

Abstract

We present a modified transconjunctival blepharoplasty technique that has proved very effective in patients desiring rejuvenation of the lower eyelids that do not need skin or orbicularis resection. Double-armed sutures are placed through the tip of each fat pedicle, and the needles are passed through the intra-SOOF pocket out through the skin below the tear trough and tied over a foam bolster.
