Microtubules in retinoblastoma

The presence of large numbers of regularly arranged microtubules was a prominent feature of retinoblastoma cells examined by electron microscopy. These structures were present in both glutaraldehyde and chromeosmium fixed specimens, and were similar in this regard to the microtubules described in the retinal photoreceptor cells.
