Abstract

Ten percent random samples of psychologists in private practice as well as those in the army, navy, and airforce settings were surveyed by mail questionnaire regarding frequency of use of 30 psychological tests and patterns of assessment services. Findings are compared with those from a similar questionnaire sent to 10 percent random samples of psychologists in psychiatric hospitals, community clinics and mental health centers, counseling centers, centers for developmental disabilities and mental retardation, and VA medical centers.
