    Abstract

    To the Editor: The report by McAnulty et al. of their prospective study of bundle-branch-block in the August 3 issue of the Journal demonstrates an epidemiologic flaw that could modify the study results and its implications. For the 1211 abnormal electrocardiograms meeting the authors' criteria the authors got in touch with 638 patients as part of the study protocol. Only half the population at risk was studied.
