Abstract
This article focuses on a large group of schizophrenic insanity acquittees placed under the jurisdiction of the Oregon Psychiatric Security Review Board (PSRB). This article explores the involvement of the criminal justice and mental health systems prior to, during, and after commitment of the acquittees to the jurisdiction of the PSRB. Subjects had considerable involvement in both systems prior to and after commitment to PSRB.
