N2 - Erosive oral lichen planus is a chronic, painful disease that is frequently refractory to treatment. We describe 6 patients with erosive oral lichen planus, not responsive to topical steroids, who showed substantial improvement with the use of topical tacrolimus ointment 0.1%. This medication was well tolerated and appears to be effective in controlling erosive oral lichen planus.
