N2 - We have reduced the burden of CRC through screening and other efforts but the fight continues. In the next 5-10 years, the biggest challenges for our field will be to improve screening in the newlyeligible, those overdue and unscreened, and ensure our efforts are undertaken in a framework of health equity, reducing barriers to care (Figure 1). In our lifetime, we will see an expanded panel of CRC screening options, expanded roles of artificial intelligence for use in colonoscopy, and newer and better treatments for those diagnosed with CRC.
