Abstract
Cord block with 0.5% bupivacaine hydrochloride has been used as the primary anesthesia for a large number of scrotal procedures performed during a 3-year period. The technique is easy to master and cost-effective, and provides excellent intrascrotal anesthesia. There have been no complications directly attributed to the anesthetic agent or the technique of performing the nerve block.
