Abstract

Little is known about how diverse supply chains grow and adapt. We introduce a Complex Adaptive System approach for cultivating and analyzing supply chain networks. A simulation-based empirical model is developed for studying this problem and preliminary analysis show time-varying emergence of diverse supply chains structures.
