Abstract
Advanced gynecologic malignancies can present with complications requiring urgent and emergent management. We have addressed different situations including medical and surgical emergencies with emphasis on the most serious complications necessitating emergency department care and hospital admission in gynecologic malignancies. Hypercalcemia, neutropenic fever, tumor lysis syndrome, and hyponatremia are covered in other chapters of this book.
