Abstract
Left ventricular outflow tract obstruction (LVOTO) can be caused by a spectrum of lesions that obstruct the flow of blood from the left ventricle into the aorta. The site of obstruction is often classified anatomically as valvular, subvalvular, or supravalvular. Although these lesions usually occur separately, patients can present with combinations of the anatomic varieties. In this chapter, common presentations of LVOTO are considered, and the surgical management is discussed.
