Abstract

The neck can be involved in metastasis from primary head and neck neoplasms as well as from distant primary tumors (infraclavicular neoplasms). Workups of such neck lesions are challenging and often necessitate a multidisciplinary approach and multimodality imaging. In this chapter, the clinical aspect of neck metastasis will be reviewed as well as the role of imaging with attention to the added value of hybrid positron-emission tomography and magnetic resonance imaging.
