Abstract
The National Registry of Drug-Induced Ocular Side Effects is an information center for ocular toxicology. The registry collects case reports of drug-induced ocular side effects from physicians and surveys the world literature for possible drug-related ocular events. Cause-and-effect relationships are not identified in this system, but trends or clues of possible adverse drug associations can be flagged. The registry will hopefully continue to make significant contributions toward decreasing the delay between recognition of a possible adverse drug reaction and the actual reporting of same.
