Abstract

The author reviews the manifestations and X-ray findings of splenic tumours; he regards selective arteriography as the most useful radiological investigation. A detailed description is given of 7 patients who were investigated in this way. Three had splenic cysts, one had a benign splenic tumour and 3 had malignant splenic tumours, all of which were reliably diagnosed by the radiological investigations.
