Value of computer analysis of exercise thallium images in the noninvasive detection of coronary artery disease

Abstract

The present study confirms that in patients with no prior myocardial infarction, imaging with thallium and exercise improves detection of CAD over the clinical assessment (presence of typical angina) and exercise electrocardiography. Quantifying the thallium-produced images improved the results even further.
